Staff Member in Focus: Mr Tony Georgiakakis

I began working at All Saints Grammar Primary Campus in 2007 as a stage 3 classroom teacher who also assisted with PDHPE and Sports.

My background has always been in PDHPE and began teaching in 2006 in London, shortly after completing my Diploma in Education at UTS. Prior to that, I also completed a Bachelor of Human Movement at UTS. I completed a Masters of Management, Majoring in Sports at UTS in 2011. By 2008 I was teaching exclusively in Primary PDHPE. By 2011 I became the Primary Campus Head of Sport before transitioning to an Academic Leader in 2015.

The students have always been my passion at ASG. I have been privileged to teach many students from PreKinder all the way through to Year 12. I have been fortunate to establish positive bonds with students in our time together. It always makes me proud to bump into many students whom have I taught and hear about their progress and reminisce about the great moments we enjoyed in our time together at school.

During my time at All Saints, it has also been an honour to work with dedicated Heads of School and Campuses and staff who have always had the wellbeing of students and the success of the school at the forefront of their ambitions. I have learned much from my colleagues and am grateful for the friendships I have formed with past and present colleagues.

Some of my proudest moments include making Cricket finals and winning several boys and girls Football and Futsal titles in Primary, including a national Futsal title in 2008. As well as Co-coaching in the Greek Schools Rugby League Cup in 2022 and of course, being involved with our amazing staff and students at this year’s NSE event. I have also enjoyed watching students develop across a range of sports including swimming, athletics, football and golf.
