Student report – March 2026

On the 16 March, the Secondary Colour Run took place at Clemton Park and proved to be a highly successful event, bringing students together in a fun, active and purposeful way.

Held in recognition of Harmony Day, the initiative celebrated the rich cultural diversity of our school community while reinforcing the message that everyone belongs.

Aligned with our school’s philosophy of service and “better person, better learner,” the Colour Run extended beyond enjoyment and participation. It provided students with an opportunity to actively contribute to the wellbeing of others, fostering empathy, gratitude and a sense of social responsibility.

The event also achieved a significant fundraising outcome, with a total of $1300 raised. These funds will go directly towards the St Nicholas Mission, an organisation the school has proudly supported for many years. Through this partnership, we are committed to sponsoring at least nine students at the St Nicholas Mission Academy in Ghana, helping to provide access to education, food and essential medical resources. In doing so, our students are reminded that their actions, even within our local context, can have a meaningful global impact.

Overall, the initiative was a powerful reflection of our values in action. It not only promoted wellbeing, physical activity and community connection, but also reinforced the importance of service, compassion and global awareness. The strong support from both students and staff highlights a collective commitment to these values and sets a positive foundation for future initiatives that continue to shape our students as both better people and better learners.
