At All Saints Grammar, we continue to punch well above our weight in sport across both our Primary and Secondary campuses. Our students once again displayed teamwork, determination, and school spirit throughout Term 3.

At the Primary campus, we concluded the Winter IPSSO sport season with plenty to celebrate. We were particularly impressed with the growth and development of our Junior teams. For many of these students, this was their very first year representing the school in competitive sport, and the improvement across the term was remarkable. Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn laid a strong foundation for the future of All Saints Grammar sport.

Our Senior teams also showed tremendous grit and energy throughout the season. A special mention must go to Mrs Dunstan’s Netball team, who proudly qualified for the IPSSO Finals. The girls competed with great determination and finished 4th overall. With many Year 5 students already stepping up at this level, we are excited to see what this team can achieve in 2026 and beyond.

The IPSHA Athletics Carnival was another highlight this term, with our students competing at the iconic Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre in Homebush. A standout performance came from Aundrea Paris, who placed 7th overall in the high jump – an outstanding result given the competitiveness of the event.

The Orthodox Schools Athletics Carnival, hosted by St Euphemia at The Crest Athletics Track, was another fantastic day of sport. Our All Saints Grammar team competed with pride and determination, finishing 2nd overall across the schools. Looking ahead, next term will see the return of IPSSO Summer Sports, and we are excited about upcoming events including the Orthodox Swimming Carnival at Roselands Aquatic Centre, the Oz Tag Gala Day, and the Mini Athletics Carnival for K–2.

At the Secondary campus, Term 3 began with the SWISSA Athletics Carnival, where ASG finished an impressive 2nd overall. Special congratulations to Rose Vlahonikolou (200m), Victoria Athanasatos (High Jump), and Stephanie Tsouskas (High Jump), who not only excelled in their events but also broke records along the way. Following this, at the AICES Carnival, we were thrilled to see Alannah Faith Dionysopoulos (100m) and Rose Vlahonikolou (400m and Long Jump) qualify for the AICES team to progress to the prestigious CIS Championships.

In SWISSA sport, ASG enjoyed a highly successful season, winning the Junior Netball, Senior Boys Oz Tag, and Open Girls Oz Tag competitions. Remarkably, all of our SWISSA teams qualified for the finals, with the Junior Boys Oz Tag team just falling agonisingly short in their decider, losing 3–2 to Redeemer in a thrilling match. Thank you to Netball Coach Ms Atsalis and Oz Tag Coaches Mr Keppel and Mr Koliomihos.

Our strong tradition in Futsal continued this term, with five ASG teams competing at the State Futsal Titles in Windsor, having qualified through excellent performances at their regional championships. We are immensely proud of their hard work and the way they represented our school. Training for these teams began all the way back in Term 1, and we extend our gratitude to Nick Mouzourakis (Football Brilliance Academy), Coach Michael Panzarino (Football Brilliance Academy), and Mr Koliomihos (U16 Boys Coach) for their outstanding guidance and dedication. Special mention goes to the Under 10 Boys, who narrowly missed the final after a close semi-final, and to the Under 16 Boys, one of ASG’s most talented squads, who heartbreakingly lost on penalties to the eventual winners, Bossley Park.

As we look ahead in Secondary, Term 4 promises to be just as exciting. Students will be trialling for Volleyball, Cricket, and Tennis in the opening week, while preparations will also begin for the NSE Trials ahead of the 2026 event, to be hosted by St Euphemia in Sydney.

Sport continues to be an essential part of life at All Saints Grammar. We are proud of our students’ achievements, but above all, of their effort, sportsmanship, and commitment to representing our school with pride.
