It is difficult to believe that Term 3 2025 has come to a close. We have farewelled our Year 12 students and welcomed our Kindergarten 2026 cohort during their first visit to the Primary Campus.

Community connections

The 100 Days of Kindergarten celebration, Kindergarten 2026 Observation sessions, K–12 Liturgy, Parent Information sessions and conferences, and the Father’s Day Breakfast all highlight the importance of building trusting and positive connections within our school and the wider community.

The importance of belonging

A strong sense of belonging and identity encourages the development of ethical values and enriches classroom learning. Students feel safe asking questions, knowing they will be supported rather than judged. They know they can lean on their teachers and peers to complement or test their understanding.

Character values act as a springboard from which students can ask those big questions, pursuing truth with both heart and mind. When cultural, social, and spiritual connections are actively nurtured, they provide perspective and a critical lens—producing better people and better learners. Our students become not only knowledgeable but also compassionate, ethical, and responsible citizens.

Building character

To foster emotional balance and develop strong minds, we must remain connected to our roots, each other, and something greater than ourselves. At All Saints Grammar, we do this by sharing traditions and engaging with custodians who bring authenticity and perspective.

Learning highlights

• Year 6 explored our Nation’s capital in Canberra, gaining an appreciation for democracy and Australian identity.
• Year 1 visited the Sydney School House Museum to learn about the evolution of schooling. Comparing their school with that of the past.
• Years 5 and 6 baked traditional St Phanourios cakes (Φανουρόπιτες) and offered them during the Divine Liturgy.
• Kinder to Year 6 students were inspired by author Jacqueline Harvey during Book Week, who encouraged them to embrace authenticity and life’s adventures. She owed her success to having courage and using her experiences to connect with others and encouraged the students to do the same.
• During National Science Week, Mrs Constanti, K-6 Academic Leader STEM, supported staff and, students in decoding the universe and exploring nature’s hidden language. The activities not only promoted scientific and technological understanding but allowed space for students to see the hand of God in creation. Did you know that every snowflake is unique?
• The IPSHA Gala Day and Maths Cup provided Years 5 and 6 students with opportunities to engage in friendly competition and extend the hand of friendship with peers from other Independent Schools.
• Year 5 visited the Blue Mountains National Park to study fire management and learn from First Nations practices.
• Aunty Maxine Ryan, a respected elder and artist, shared Indigenous art techniques and storytelling with Year 3, fostering cultural appreciation and connection. The students were engaged from the beginning through her storytelling and love of country. We hope to see her more often in our school.

Holiday opportunities

We invite families to explore the All Saints Parish School Holiday program, including opportunities to Cook for the Poor and attend the English Divine Liturgy.

Farewell Wishes

Finally, we extend our best wishes to Ms Allen and Miss Arthur as they await the birth of their babies. We thank them for their dedication to All Saints Grammar and its students.
