As Term 2 draws to a close, it’s been a busy and exciting time in Sport at All Saints Grammar. From football finals to national events, our students have demonstrated commitment, skill, and great school spirit across all competitions.

Our Primary students kicked off the IPSHA winter season with energy and determination. As we reach the halfway point, all teams are well-positioned and showing strong progress heading into the final rounds next Term.

Our Junior and Senior Boys were both crowned champions of the SWISSA Football Finals. And our Senior Girls also won the championship. Our Junior girls placed 4th overall – great effort by all.

Futsal continues to grow across the School. Our U14 Junior teams narrowly missed out on finals spot this term but are preparing for a new competition early next Term. Meanwhile, our Primary Futsal teams have been training diligently and at the time of writing, are looking forward to competing in the upcoming Bankstown Futsal Competition this Friday.

The recent Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia National Schools Event (GOAANSE), was a highlight of the Term. It was a memorable week filled with activities, training sessions, and competitive games. Our students represented the school with pride and finished 3rd overall – a commendable result.

Our Secondary students competed at the SWISSA Cross Country Carnival, with special congratulations to Joshua Prazan, who delivered the best result for our squad and earned selection into the SWISSA representative team.

In Primary, our Athletics Championships saw Attica claim the house title in a fantastic day of competition. Ionia claimed victory at the Secondary Athletics Championships during the final week of school.

Looking ahead, early next Term, Secondary Sport selections will take place with trials for Netball and OzTag scheduled. For Primary students, both the IPSHA Athletics Carnival and Orthodox Schools Carnival are fast approaching. These events also offer students the opportunity to progress to the CIS level.
