Primary Report – February 2026
As I write my first newsletter contribution as Director of Primary at All Saints Grammar, I would like to take a moment to say how grateful I am to have been so warmly welcomed into this community. From my very first day, I have felt supported by staff, embraced by students and greeted by families with kindness and openness. It is a privilege to lead such a vibrant and dedicated Primary School.
Education is not simply a profession for me – it is something I genuinely love. I am passionate about creating an environment where every child feels known, supported and inspired to achieve their personal best.
As we move through Term 1 together, my focus remains on strengthening teaching and learning practices, building consistency across the primary years and working closely with our wonderful staff to ensure every classroom is a place of engagement and growth. I am also very much looking forward to continuing to meet more of our families and building strong partnerships that support each child’s journey.
Below are some important dates and updates for the weeks ahead.
9–20 March – Years 1 and 2 Intensive Swim Program
Students in Years 1 and 2 will participate in a two‑week intensive swimming program designed to build water confidence and essential safety skills. Please ensure your child brings labelled swim gear each day.
11–20 March – NAPLAN Years 3 and 5
Our Year 3 and Year 5 students will be completing NAPLAN online assessments. Teachers have been preparing students with confidence‑building activities and familiarisation tasks.
1 April – K–2 Easter Hat Parade
A highlight of Term 1! Parents and carers are invited to join us as our youngest students parade their creative Easter hats. More details to follow.
2 April – K–6 Parent–Teacher Conferences
Save the date. This is a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and set learning goals for the term ahead.
Co‑curriculars
Sport training
Sport training for Term 1 is now underway. Families are encouraged to check the sport timetables carefully to ensure students attend the correct sessions and arrive with appropriate equipment.
Co‑curricular club enrolment
Expressions of interest for our co‑curricular clubs will be sent home soon. These programs offer students opportunities to explore interests outside the classroom, develop new skills, and connect with peers across year levels. Please ensure forms are returned to the Primary Campus Office by the date indicated on the letter.
School policy changes
This term, we remind all families that teacher duty of care concludes at 3:30pm each day. To support a smooth and safe end‑of‑day process, all students who are not collected by this time must be enrolled in after‑school care.
The enrolment process is free, even if your child uses the service only occasionally. We strongly encourage all families to complete the enrolment as a precautionary measure.

Student wellbeing and support
Our Year 4-6 students had a fantastic time at camp in Week 4. Over three days, they stepped outside their comfort zones, took part in challenge by choice activities, and discovered the power of cooperation and clear communication. It was wonderful to see new friendships form and existing bonds strengthen as students worked together, encouraged one another.
