As we reach the close of another school year and look forward to the holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished together. This year has been one of growth, resilience, and achievement, and it would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our students, staff, and families.

Students
Our students have shown remarkable perseverance, creativity, and enthusiasm throughout the year. From overcoming challenges to embracing new learning opportunities, they have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to their personal and academic growth. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, or on the field, our students have made us proud in so many ways. As they move forward, I’m sure that the skills and values they’ve developed here will serve them well in the years to come.

Staff
I would like to thank our dedicated teaching and support staff, for their tireless efforts in supporting and nurturing the minds and hearts of our students. Their passion, dedication to student success, and ability to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of education have made a profound impact on our school community. Our staff has not only imparted knowledge but also modelled kindness, resilience, and integrity. Their contributions are deeply valued and appreciated.

As we look ahead, we also acknowledge and express our deep gratitude to several staff members who will be moving on from All Saints at the end of this year.

Farewells
It is with mixed emotions that we bid farewell to Mr Angelou, Mr Chang, Mr Arnold and Mrs Georgopoulos. Each of these dedicated educators has contributed significantly to the life of our school, and their presence will be greatly missed. We thank them for their commitment, passion, and the positive impact they’ve had on our students and staff.

In addition, it is with much gratitude, sadness, and a sense of pride that I bring you the news that after nearly 11 years of exceptional leadership and service as Head of Secondary and Deputy Head of School, Mr Jaime Rodriguez will be leaving All Saints on 31 January 2025 to join the Parramatta Diocese as Head of Secondary Learning.

Mr Rodriguez has made an enormous contribution to All Saints Grammar, as well as to its students, staff, and the broader school community. He has assisted me in transforming All Saints Grammar. Together, we have grown enrolments in the school, achieved some of the best academic results in our history, and built significant capacity within our staff. I will forever be grateful for his unwavering support, dedication, and professionalism throughout his tenure. We congratulate him on his new appointment, and we wish him all the best as he embarks on this exciting new chapter in his career. While we will miss him deeply, I know that Mr Rodriguez will continue to be very much a part of the All Saints Grammar community moving forward, and we look forward to staying in touch with him in some capacity.

Board of Directors
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Board of Directors, under the leadership of Mr Ulysses Ntoumbos, for their unwavering support throughout the year. Your guidance and dedication have been instrumental in helping us navigate challenges and continue to move our school forward.

School Chaplain
A special thank you goes to Father Dimitrios, our School Chaplain, for his spiritual guidance and support. Father Dimitrios’ presence has brought comfort, inspiration, and a strong sense of community to our school. His work helps foster an environment where our students are encouraged to grow not only academically but also spiritually and ethically.

Award recipients
I wholeheartedly congratulate this year’s award recipients. Their hard work, dedication, and achievements deserve to be celebrated, and we are so proud of what they have accomplished. These students’ successes are an inspiration to their peers and an affirmation of the values we hold dear at All Saints Grammar.

Exciting new developments
Looking ahead, I am thrilled to announce some exciting new developments that will enhance the learning environment for our students. Over the Easter break, we will be installing a brand-new Infants Playground, which will provide our younger students with a safe, engaging, and inspiring outdoor space for play and learning. In addition, we will be installing air conditioning in the gymnasium to ensure a more comfortable and conducive environment for physical activities and events.

To meet the growing needs of our expanding Secondary campus, we will also be adding four state-of-the-art modular general learning classrooms and an additional science lab. These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to providing the best facilities and resources to support our students’ learning and growth.

Service and giving
I am delighted to share that we continue our partnership with St Nicholas Mission. Our students have raised $5,000 through various initiatives towards this worthy cause. I know that the students of St Nicholas Mission, which we sponsor, will benefit greatly from this generous donation. Partnerships such as these cultivate empathy and compassion and promote a strong social conscience amongst our students. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this meaningful cause. Your generosity helps make a difference in the lives of others and exemplifies the true spirit of our school community.

Student Leaders
Congratulations to our newly elected student leaders! These students have shown exceptional leadership potential, and I am confident they will represent our school with pride and dedication. They will serve as ambassadors for All Saints, and I know they will do a fine job in fostering a strong sense of community and school spirit. We look forward to supporting them as they take on this important responsibility.

35th Anniversary
Next year, All Saints Grammar will be celebrating a major milestone—35 years of excellence as a School. This is an extraordinary achievement, and I am incredibly proud of all that we have accomplished over the past three and a half decades. As we look ahead to our anniversary year, we will reflect on the journey that has brought us to this point and the many wonderful people—students, staff, families, and community members—who have helped shape our story. There will be opportunities to come together as a community and celebrate our past, present, and future, and I look forward to marking this special occasion with you all.

Our families
We are incredibly grateful to our families for their unwavering support and partnership. Your involvement—whether volunteering, supporting events, or simply encouraging your children to do their best—is vital to our success. We could not have achieved what we did this year without you. Your role in our community is invaluable, and we deeply appreciate all that you do.

All Saints Parents Association
We are indebted to our ASPA members for their unwavering support and commitment to our school. Their dedication and tireless efforts have made a tremendous impact on our community. This year, ASPA’s fundraising initiatives were particularly impressive, raising an outstanding $150,000, which will go a long way in supporting the continued growth and success of All Saints Grammar. The enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to give time and resources are a testament to the strong partnership between our school and the broader community. We thank ASPA members for their passion – their work truly exemplifies the spirit of unity and collaboration that makes our school so special.

2025
As we look toward the future, we are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead. We will continue to build upon the strong foundation we’ve established, always striving to create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. The coming year will undoubtedly bring new challenges and opportunities, and I am confident that, together, we will meet them with the same spirit of cooperation and determination that has defined this school year. As we head into the summer, I encourage everyone to take time to rest, reflect, and recharge. We look forward to welcoming you back for another year of growth, learning, and community, as we celebrate our 35th anniversary.
