The Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) has always provided students with a range of opportunities to explore creativity artistic rigour, and 2025 has certainly been a continuation of this journey for our students.

In Music, our Years 11 and 12 students performed their assessment pieces in the form of a live Soiree, where parents were able to view the hard work and talent of their children under the guidance of Mr Lombardo. In addition, Years 7 and 8 students have begun our newly developed Band Program, which has extended its reach to vocalists and a larger range of instrument groupings to cater for the diverse needs of our students.

Our Primary students have also been exploring creativity as our Years 5 and 6 students have begun preparations for their IPSHA Concert, whilst our Primary Band Program is also experiencing growth in numbers with 2025 experiencing some of our largest ensembles to date.

Furthermore, Visual Arts continue to provide creative learning experiences for our students. Years 10 to 12 Visual Arts students recently visited the ARTEXPRESS exhibition, showcasing outstanding HSC Visual Arts works from across NSW, whilst Year 8 students are diving into the world of ceramics, creating Under the Sea inspired vessels.

Year 9 is making a bold statement with Pop Art! Students are learning various Pop Art and painting techniques to design and customise their own sneakers, drawing inspiration from the vibrant and iconic art movement. In addition, Year 10 has kicked off the ASG Archies, a portrait painting project inspired by the prestigious Archibald Prize.
