Message from the Head of School – March 2026
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we come to the end of a full and productive term, I would like to sincerely thank you for your continued support and for working in genuine partnership with the school. This collaboration is critical in ensuring the very best outcomes for your children.
ASG Learning and Teaching Framework
Across the school, there has been a strong and deliberate focus on the implementation of the ASG Learning and Teaching Framework. It has been particularly pleasing to see this reflected in classroom practice through a clear emphasis on Explicit Teaching, where concepts are carefully modelled and scaffolded for students. Alongside this, Learning Intentions and Success Criteria are being consistently embedded, ensuring students have clarity around what they are learning and what success looks like. Our teachers are also strengthening their use of Formative Assessment to monitor progress in real time and respond to student needs with precision. This collective approach is building greater consistency across the school and supporting improved learning outcomes for all students.
Hellenic Parliamentary visit
This term provided us with the privilege of hosting a delegation from the Hellenic Parliament at our Secondary Campus. Our students represented the school with distinction, impressing our guests with their confidence, talent, and depth of understanding. We could not be prouder of the way they embodied the values and spirit of All Saints Grammar.
Greek Independence Day
I would like to acknowledge and thank our community for your support and presence at the Greek Independence Day celebrations. Our students conducted themselves with dignity and pride, and their behaviour and presentation were exemplary. These moments are deeply significant to our identity, and your support reinforces their importance.
Respectful communication
I would like to take this opportunity to address the increasing use of parent WhatsApp groups. While these platforms can, at times, serve a practical and positive purpose, they can also become unhelpful and, in some cases, counterproductive to the strong sense of community we value at All Saints Grammar.
At times, silence or non-response within these groups can be misinterpreted as agreement, which may place some parents in uncomfortable positions. Additionally, when these forums are used to critique staff, students, or school decisions, it can lead to misunderstanding and unnecessary concern, and does not reflect the respectful and values-driven culture we seek to model for our children.
As parents and role models, it is important that we demonstrate appropriate and respectful communication. What may be perceived as casual commentary or gossip can have a broader impact than intended and can undermine the trust that is essential within a school community.
I would like to reiterate that the most appropriate and effective way to address concerns, seek clarification, or ask questions is to engage directly with the school. Our staff members are always available and committed to working with you in a professional, respectful, and solutions-focused manner.
Easter
As we now approach Holy Week and Easter, I wish all families a blessed and peaceful time. May the Resurrection of Christ bring renewal, hope, and strength to you and your loved ones.
Important notes
A reminder that Monday 20 April will be a Pupil Free Day, as our staff engage in professional learning. At All Saints Grammar, we are committed to building the capacity of our educators, because, like our students, we are lifelong learners.
Students will return to school on Tuesday 21 April in their winter uniform.
I encourage all families to take this opportunity over the break to rest, recharge, and spend quality time together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another busy and rewarding term.
