Educational Access Scheme: helps UAC applicants who have experienced significant educational challenges.
Equity Scholarships: awarded to applicants who demonstrate the greatest financial need.
Schools Recommendation Scheme: an opportunity for Year 12 applicants to be assessed on criteria other than, or in addition to, the ATAR.

The University of Wollongong (UOW) is committed to supporting students in their final years of school with additional resources and expert assistance.
Our Year 11 & 12 Subject Support Sessions are designed to deepen students’ understanding of key subject content and offer insights into what HSC exam markers are looking for.
In partnership with InspirationED, experienced HSC experts and UOW staff will deliver subject revision sessions on July 15, 16, and 17 for current Year 11 and Year 12 students. Participants will have the exciting opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable tips and strategies.
All sessions are in-person at either the UOW Wollongong or Liverpool campus, and cost $11 to cover materials. Attendees will receive a sample exam paper with high-quality exemplar responses, providing clear guidance on how to achieve strong exam results.

University of Sydney College of the Arts Creative Arts Special Admission Scheme
Submit Portfolio by 13 August
Did you know you can apply to get an early offer from Sydney College of the Arts before you get your ATAR? If you’ve got the talent and the dedication, we want you.
If you are an HSC student in NSW, you must do the following:
- apply to UAC and submit your portfolio by Thursday 14 August 2025, 11:59 pm
- list your BVA as your highest eligible preference
For most NSW Year 12 HSC students, no separate application is required, and your Year 11 and 12 results and predicted ATAR will be obtained automatically through UAC by the Sydney College of the Arts.
You will be assessed on your portfolio, plus your academic results from years 11 and 12 so far. Predicted ATAR scores will be obtained by Sydney College of the Arts through UAC for students sitting the HSC or must be submitted directly if you are an interstate applicant.

UTS Business Cadetship Scheme
If you’re undertaking a paid cadetship, you can use the UTS Business School Cadetship Entry scheme to start studying at UTS.
The cadetship entry scheme is for Year 12 high school students who have secured at least a one year paid cadetship. It provides cadets with paid employment while they undertake university studies, allowing you to combine the practical experience and professional development of employment with the academic challenge of a university degree.

AIE Games and Animation Workshop Day

AIE’s Games and Animation Workshop Days are a great opportunity for students in Years 10, 11 and 12 to learn about the local and international game development, 3D animation and visual effects industries. AIE Film Production Workshop

Learn what it takes to plan and produce a film shoot in this intensive film production workshop. You will get hands-on with cameras, lighting, and the latest in virtual production LED screens.
