What does integrating faith in education look like?

A 2025 report by Charles Darwin University Australia found that students in faith-based schools often report higher levels of school engagement and a stronger sense of belonging and hope. These benefits are especially pronounced when families feel a shared alignment between home and school values.

It found that a higher emphasis on community service in Catholic schools played a crucial role in fostering students’ civic engagement, particularly in volunteering activities
