Term 4 has truly been the ‘Term of Opportunity’ for our Creative Arts students. The Creative Arts and Technology Exhibit showcased the remarkable talent and dedication of our students from Years 3 through to 12. The vibrant displays, both on stage and throughout the exhibit, highlighted the exceptional work of our Music, Visual Arts, and Technology students. A heartfelt thanks to all the teachers and students who contributed to bringing this exhibit to life.

Our Taverna Night was a wonderful celebration that united our entire school community. Under the leadership of Mrs Englezos, students actively participated in the Greek Dancing performances, proudly celebrating their culture. Elective Music students also took part, providing live musical entertainment throughout the evening.

Students further showcased celebrated their Greek heritage by performing at the Burwood Greek Fair, where they represented the school on the main stage and shared their talents with the local community.

The Christmas Carols celebration was another highlight of the term, with students from PreKinder to Year 12 coming together to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and bring joy to our community.

As the Academic Leader of Creative and Performing Arts, I was incredibly proud of our Music students who were selected to perform for His All Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew, marking the official launch of the All Saints Grammar Orchestra. This event highlighted the collaboration between our Primary and Secondary students, showcasing the depth of musical talent within our school.

Looking ahead to 2025, I am excited to know there will be many opportunities for the students to showcase their creativity. From the National Schools Event Creative Arts item to IPSHA events and Musical Auditions, there are many exciting initiatives already in the works for our students.

Creative and Performing Arts play a vital role in our school life, both inside and outside the classroom. I encourage our students to keep creating, keep challenging themselves, continue refining their craft, and, above all, enjoy the process.
