Grooming

Girls Hair must be clean, tidy and off the face. Girls with shoulder length hair need to keep it gathered. Streaking and other forms of hair colouring are unacceptable. Makeup of any kind is not permitted. If worn, girls will be asked to remove makeup prior to attending any school/class - failing this warning, parents will be called to collect the student until the student has followed the School's requirements.

Boys Must be clean and tidy. An acceptable haircut is collar length with a square back at the neck with hair blended in all round, ie short, back and sides. Crewcuts, steps, undercuts, spiked, coloured hair or excessive gel is unacceptable. Students will be asked to wash excessive gel out prior to being admitted to class. Senior School boys must attend clean shaven and will be offered a razor and shaving cream if necessary, prior to being admitted to class.

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are not to be used whilst at the School. Students requiring to bring mobile phones with them due to parent's request for safety reasons (transportation) etc are asked to deliver their phone to the front Office where it will be kept safe until the student collects it as they leave for the day. Students found with mobile phones in their possession whilst at School will have these confiscated and not returned to them. The phone will be returned to the parent only, following an interview.

Students that attend in incorrect uniform or contrary to the requirements stated above will be sent home after parents have been notified. Students will not be accepted back until these issues have been corrected.

Parents are asked to take particular interest in assisting the School in maintaining its expectations by ensuring that students attend correctly dressed from home. To try to correct only at School level will not be as effective if the parental influence is lacking. Parents choosing to send their children to All Saints Grammar School have agreed to abide by the terms and conditions of enrolment when completing and signing the Application Form - it is requested that each parent abides by that agreement to avoid any unnecessary complications.
