School Ethos and Aims

All Saints Grammar School is a Co-educational Day School currently in its fourteenth year of operation. The Junior School situated in Hampden Road, Lakemba caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with a student enrolment of 388. The Senior School on Forsyth Street, Belmore South caters for Years 7 - 12 with a current enrolment of 290 students.

All Saints Grammar is a vibrant school founded in 1990 by the Parish and Community of Belmore and Districts to provide academic excellence within a foundation of Orthodox Christian ethics.

The School encourages and nurtures success to be an intrinsic part of all students and promotes a caring and safe environment that allows each student to remain focused and on task. This is achieved with the assistance of a dedicated, experienced and friendly teaching staff whose prime goal is to establish each child's learning and personal potential.

To achieve our mission we are committed to:

  • Encouraging students' personal excellence in spiritual, academic, sporting and creative endeavours, and preparing them for ongoing learning within an Orthodox Christian ethos.
  • Encouraging the development in students of self-confidence, independence and a healthy self-esteem, in a supportive and caring atmosphere.
  • Providing students with opportunities to expand leadership qualities and enhance social skills through a wide variety of activities.
  • Creating equal opportunities in all aspects of school life and, through diverse social interaction, developing an awareness of the rights of others to be different and a respect for that difference.
  • Fostering responsible conduct and pride in personal appearance.
  • Maintaining an effective support structure to identify and cater for student needs.
  • Providing a curriculum with depth and variety, catering for a wide range of student abilities, interests and future needs.
  • Professional development programs that enhance the staff's capacity to improve student-learning outcomes.
  • Fostering staff morale and cohesion by acknowledging and valuing staff contributions, commitment and achievements.
  • Providing a co-educational school that responds to the concerns of parents and the wider community and encourages their involvement in the school.
  • Sharing facilities, expertise and resources with the community for mutual benefit.
  • Presenting a unique, aesthetically beautiful setting and promoting respect for the environment.
