Dear ASG Community
With the release of the HSC results early this morning, now presents an ideal opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the outstanding achievements of the Class of 2020.
The Class of 2020 faced immense challenges throughout the course of this unusual year. Our Class’ demonstration of resilience amidst adversity to complete their HSC was truly outstanding, and for this, we commend you. Congratulations to each and every ASG graduate on your exceptional achievement!
Perhaps now more than ever, it is important to acknowledge that a good education is more than a mark on a page or a certificate at the end of a school year. At ASG, this means equipping students with the skills needed for the demands of a globalised and unpredictable future. On behalf of the Class of 2020, I would like to extend thanks to our extraordinary teaching community for their commitment and dedication to ensuring each student was able to pursue personal excellence this year.
Together, we have overcome the challenges of lockdown, virtual remote online learning, and numerous other restrictions that have considerably impacted how we live and learn. We are proud of how you rose up and overcame these challenges, and we hope that you take these learnings forward with you into your next stage of life.
To our parent community, we also recognise and thank you for your partnership with our School in your child’s educational journey. For many ASG families, this relationship has spanned 13 years. Your engagement with your child’s education has been vital in ensuring that your child achieves the success they seek, and for this, we thank you.
Now is the time for our new graduates to take the lessons and values learned at ASG to forge their own futures; whether that be through the pursuit of a University education, vocational trade, or any other number of pathways available to you.
